Chloe Muldrow ‘24
SEO Strategist
Communication Major
When Chloe Muldrow ‘24, first came to Hiram, she was unsure of herself and her place as a college student. However, she soon discovered that Hiram had so much to offer her, and her confidence quickly grew.
As a student at Hiram, Chloe worked for the Admission Office and the Office of Strategic Marketing and Media Relations. These jobs prepared her for managing work and school life. “Balancing it meant blocking out my schedule each week, doing homework between shifts, and being up front with my professors and bosses when things got busy.”
Chloe landed an internship at the Digital Sandwich Agency. After her internship was over, she received a full-time job with them. Now working as a local SEO strategist, Chloe manages Google Business Profiles for local businesses. She updates business profiles, such as photos and promotions, to ensure they are accurate and they rank well on Google. She also gathers authentic reviews for businesses and responds to customer feedback.
Hiram taught her that it was okay to figure things out as she went—learning is an evolving process, after all. Balancing both school and work prepared her for managing over fifty clients at once with her current job and gave her a head start in her internship.
“It’s a place where people bring a lot of energy and creativity, and you’re invited to be part of that. It really changed everything for me.”
Chloe’s final word of advice: “The people who believe in you before you believe in yourself make a huge difference, so it’s worth saying thank you to them.”
