ABOUT THE LIBRARY
Over the years, the library has grown from a disjointed book collection scattered around campus to a centralized resource hub with group study rooms, a variety of individual study spaces, growing collections in both print and digital formats, and computer and wireless access.
The library’s recent first-floor renovation continues this evolution by welcoming in a new Learning and Technology Collaborative aimed at bringing together members of the College and its community to interact, engage in peer-to-peer tutoring, learn about new apps, and schedule walk-in appointments with professional advisors or career specialists. The Collaborative now centrally locates the offices of several high-impact programs, housing Hiram’s Tech and Trek initiative as well as Hiram Connect and the Career Center.
- New Tech & Trek Help Desk
- Dedicated collaboration space and meeting room
- Study and collaboration lounge overlooking Hayden Street
- 2 ADA-accessible public computer stations
- 4 single-user, gender-neutral, ADA-accessible restrooms
- The Clock Tower Café
