If Hiram doesn’t own the item you’re looking for, you can still borrow it from over 100 libraries across Ohio:

  • Search for the title in OneSearch
  • Sign in to request the title from the OhioLINK box in the item’s record
  • Watch your email for notifications
  • Pickup the item at the Ask Here desk. Digital items are sent directly to your email

OhioLINK is a statewide consortium of Ohio college and university libraries, giving you access to books, eBooks, and online resources from over 120 institutions.

Need a book or article that the Hiram College Library and OhioLINK don’t have?
No problem—we can usually get it for you through Interlibrary Loan (ILL), free of charge.

Submit a request through our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Form, and we’ll find a copy for you.

Please allow time for delivery and check your email for updates and pickup details.

Printing is available on the first floor of the library. Print using one of our computers or straight from your iPad!

Follow this simple guide.

Print from the computer

  • Sign in to a computer using your Hiram username and password.
  • Look for the printer named “STUDENT-COPIER”
  • Print your document

You receive $30 in your PaperCut account each year. Printing costs 6¢ per page, deducted automatically.

Book a space for collaborative work, meetings, or instruction. Faculty and students are welcome to reserve rooms, many equipped with Apple TVs.

Study rooms are first-come, first-served.

  • Check one out with your student ID and let the fun begin!
  • Please bring items back in 7 days – with all the pieces please!

Telescopes

  • Available for a 24-hour checkout
  • Includes a quick start guide to get you stargazing fast!

Telescopes generously donated by Frank Merritt, ’65.

We have an extensive collection of newspapers, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, historic newspapers, business publications, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. Access current and archived issues to stay informed.

Supplies are available next to the printer on the First Floor—help yourself to what you need! If something’s running low, let us know so we can restock. Please return items and help keep our shared space tidy!

We also offer dry erase markers and charging cables at the Ask Here desk for checkout.

We have an extensive media collection housed on the Lower Level of the library and streaming online!
