Pendleton House: Department of History
Originally built in 1888, and named in honor of Thorn Pendleton, manufacturing executive and honorary trustee of Hiram College, and his wife, Francis (Manchester) Pendleton, the Pendleton House Renovation was made possible through their generous gifts and the munificent support of many donors.
The Department of History is located in Pendleton House, a restored, historic century house, which is also the center for various academic and social activities of history majors.
