COMMUTER PARKING
All commuter student vehicles are required to have the proper commuter parking permit for the current academic year. A valid Hiram College parking permit is required to park in any campus parking space.
Hiram College issues student parking permits through The Permit Store at https://hiram.thepermitstore.com/. Permits are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Commuters who do not park in a Hiram College parking space do not need a parking permit. However, should you chose to park in any space without a permit, you will be ticketed.
Temporary Permits
After you successfully register online and your permit is approved, you will need to print and display the temporary permit on the dashboard of your vehicle until you receive your permanent one.
If you do not have access to a computer/printer, you can pick up your temporary permit at the Campus Safety Office. The temporary permit is only valid for ten calendar days from the purchase date and it must be discarded once your permanent permit is received.
Picking up Your Permit
Commuter permits will no longer be mailed to your residence. They will be sent to the Campus Safety office and you will receive a notification via Hiram email when to pick it up . Campus Safety Office is located on the 2nd floor of the Kennedy Center. Their normal business hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Bring your Hiram ID along.
