Hiram College

Jeffrey Robb ‘21

Circleville, OH
International Studies and Political Science Double Major

For Jeffrey, community is an important part of his daily life. When researching colleges and universities to attend, he chose Hiram not just because of the tight-knit community he found, but also because of the dedication he found among Hiram’s faculty, staff and students. “It’s a place where people want to get things done not for resume building or receiving recognition, but because it’s the right thing to do,” he says.

As a double major in both the international studies and political science programs, Jeffrey has made a point to gain an understanding of global issues and their impacts. “My favorite class has undoubtedly been Politics and Architecture with Professor James Thompson. It explores the intersection between important modern political philosophy and major architectural movements,” he says. “It was fun, compelling and relevant all at the same time.”

After finishing college, Jeffrey intends to pursue a career in politics. “I aspire to one day hold a position that affords me the opportunity to work in many different areas. From writing and research, to engaging with voters, to representing constituents, to shaping public policy.”
