Hiram College is home to students from all over the world. Whether a student grew up ten miles away or an ocean away, Hiram’s campus is a place where diversity is celebrated and students from different areas and backgrounds join to explore their passions.
International students looking to apply to Hiram with the start term of fall 2021 must complete an International Application as well as include:
- Credential Evaluation of Secondary School Transcript by WES. For more information please read the WES Guide. Transcripts without a credit evaluation will not be accepted.
- TOEFL, IELTS, ACT, SAT, PTE, or SAKAE. A qualifying score in either exam is required to determine English proficiency.
- Completed Certification of Finances and Affidavit of Sponsorship with supporting documents (not required for U.S. Citizens/Permanent Residents)
- International Student Profile
- Copy of passport page
Funding is available for international students through our “International Global Scholarship” ranging from $2,000 to $10,000, and Hiram also provides, “a number of specialized programs and services to assist students with the transition to life at an American college,” shares Jeff Mongold, assistant director of admission.
These services include airport pickups for newly arriving students, international orientation, academic support services, an international student advisor, and our Family Friendly Program. Furthermore, students are guaranteed on-campus housing for all four years of enrollment as well as availability of housing for summer and school-year holiday breaks.
