Grace was born on August 2, 1987. As a young girl, she loved to learn and could not wait to start preschool. She kept that love of learning her whole life, excelling in school, participating in the Academic Decathlon and speech contests and graduating second in her class at Richmond Heights High School in 2005. She was very confident and happy in her decision to attend Hiram College and pursue a double major in English and Mathematics and a minor in Creative Writing.
Grace always loved to dance. She started ballet lessons at age three and soon added tap and jazz dance classes. Dancing and singing on stage were natural to her, and she was in many dance recitals, school plays, musicals, and show choir.
A very loving daughter and sister, Grace had a smile that could light up your day. Her compassionate nature touched those around her. She was a nominee for “Teen Citizen of the Year” in 2005 because of her many activities and time spent volunteering in the community.
Grace is greatly missed by her family and friends.
