Welcome Back! We are so excited to begin the 2019-2020 academic year.
Returning Students
Check-in for ALL residential returning students will be Sunday, August 25 between 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. in the Alumni Heritage Room in TEACHOUT PRICE Hall. Keys are only available at TEACHOUT PRICE Hall. Please be aware keys will not be available until student is in a “cleared” status. You can check your status starting August 1st at my.hiram.edu by clicking on Hiram College Portal, then selecting Student Portal and clicking on “Am I Cleared to Attend.” Please check your status before arriving.
Returning commuter students should check-in on Monday, August 26 or Tuesday, August 27 with Nicole Gatrell in the International, Commuter, and Transfer Student Services Office, located in the Kennedy Center across from the Welcome Desk, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Before you plan to arrive on campus for the Fall 2019 semester, please review the Arrival Checklist information found in the drop down lists (plus sign), at the bottom of this page, for items which must be completed before you are permitted to return. If you have any questions about any of the areas mentioned below, please do not hesitate to contact them.
Note: Early Arrival Requests are only accepted online at (form is closed) and must be submitted by Tuesday, August 6 to be considered for approval. Charges for rooms may be required. Students who are part of a team/group will be registered by the designated coach/group advisor and do not need to register individually.
Other important information:
All “First Wave” students (as indicated below), including commuters, MUST come to the location designated below to check-in. Each group has been assigned an arrival time. Please do not arrive before the assigned times. These groups include:
