Maintaining Hiram’s visual identity is vital to protecting the integrity of its public image. By using the Hiram College logo correctly at all times – in situations and materials – you help ensure Hiram College’s image is strong, uniform and consistently recognizable.
The Office of Strategic Marketing and Media Relations maintains and distributes official files. Logos must be reproduced from approved files obtained from our office.
LOGO COMPONENTS
The official Hiram logo should be used in all instances representing the College’s brand. The Hiram seal may be used in formal documents and presidential-level materials.
Logo Usage/Vertical
The Hiram logo family consists of the official Hiram logo and a departmental identifier. Acceptable logos may be comprised of one, two or three tiers. Here we are showing the vertical use of departmental identifiers.
TIER 1 logo is always the official Hiram logo only.
TIER 2 logos always contain the Tier 1 official logo; below that, Tier 2 can denote a department, office, division, etc.
TIER 3 logos represent the Centers of Distinction. Tier 3 logos always contains the Tier 1 official logo; below that, Tier 3 denotes the Center name.

Logo Usage/Horizontal
Here we are showing the horizontal use of the departmental logos.

Always ensure significant contrast between the logo and its background. Do not impair the logo’s legibility or place the logo on patterned backgrounds. In cases where the design dictates there is only one color available for reproduction, use the blue logo, black logo or reverse white logo.

PLEASE NOTE
Do not attempt to re-create this artwork. Never alter the logo(s) in any manner. If you have trouble determining color usage or have questions please contact the Office of Strategic Marketing and Media Relations.
