College Seal Usage

Image: Students studying on campus

The Hiram College Seal is reserved for formal purposes only. Using the seal is restricted to official materials, i.e., diplomas, transcripts and other institutional documents. With approval, it may be used in special situations to communicate a sense of the College’s history

One Color

The seal may be reproduced in one color using one of the following colors:

  • Hiram Blue (see color specs)
  • black
  • white
  • silver foil stamp

When color is used at full strength, leave a “safe space” around the seal. The “safe space” should be equal to the width of the circular band.

Screen/Using the Seal as a Background Element

The seal can be used as a background element, such as a watermark. Screen the seal back enough to allow text or artwork to be legible on top of it. Do not screen the seal back so much that it becomes illegible.
