Faculty and Staff,
Yesterday, you may have heard of the Governor’s mandate for employee temperature checks. During today’s press briefing, Governor DeWine recognized that there is a shortage of thermometers available to employers and he has changed his recommendation regarding temperature taking. He is now suggesting that employers ask their employees to check before heading to work, practice social distancing, ensure extra sanitization, and disinfecting of workspaces.
Thus, Hiram College asks all employees who still report to work on campus to take their temperature before leaving home each day. If your temperature rises to or above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, please stay home and contact your primary care provider or telehealth services are available from University Hospitals and registration for this service can be found here.
Any employee who needs to stay home must contact their supervisor at Hiram.
We thank you for your cooperation.
