New Students
If you will be a new student to Hiram College, it is important that you complete either the residential (on campus) or the commuter (off campus) contract for the Residence Life Office. You will receive information on how to complete these contracts from the Office of Residence Life. New students should be regularly monitoring their Hiram College email for information from campus offices.
Returning Students
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the housing selection process will take place online. All students wishing to live on campus must first fill out a residential housing contract in eRezLife.
eRezLife can be accessed through the following link: eRezLife Login. Students will login with their current Hiram username and password. Once they have completed a contract, students will be eligible to receive a housing selection time slot based on their lottery number. Lottery numbers are based on number of credit hours earned through the Fall 2025 semester. Students who complete their housing application will be assigned a sign-up time slot in early March based on their lottery number. Students can check their lottery number by going to their profile page on eRezLife.
Specialty Housing
This year, specialty housing applications are included within the housing contract. If you are interested in living in the Townhouses, East Hall, Bowler Hall, Henry Hall, or the CALM Community, you must indicate your interest on your housing contract. Additional questions will be required if you select a specialty housing option.
Please note that to be eligible for a Townhouse or an East Suite, you must be able to fill the entire unit. This requires four applicants for a Townhouse and six or eight applicants for an East Suite.
ALL students in a Townhouse and East Suite group must have their housing contracts submitted by the deadline. Groups that do not have all applications in will not be considered.
