SPRINGFEST 2024

This spring, the Office of Campus Involvement (OCI) and the Terrier Activities Board (TAB) are taking students back to the Roaring Twenties! Check out the schedule below for full details:

THURSDAY, APRIL 18

Dance Battle
KC Basement; 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Co-Sponsored by the Dance Club

Join TAB and Dance Club for their annual dance battle in the KC basement. Come ready to perform a choreographed number or an on-the-spot improv number. Compete to win up to $125! Is dancing in public not really your speed? Play Just Dance or Rock Band and enjoy some snacks. Make sure you hang out to win some raffle prizes, including a Lego set, a Bluetooth speaker, and a Ninja Creami!

FRIDAY, APRIL 19

Food Truck & Hangout Sesh
KC Front Lawn; 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Join TAB out on the KC lawn to enjoy California-inspired street tacos. The first 140 people can eat FOR FREE, which includes 3 tacos as well as a drink. Enjoy your tacos outside with friends and play some lawn games!

SATURDAY, APRIL 20

Casino Night
Martin Fieldhouse; 9 p.m. to midnight
Join us in Martin Fieldhouse for a 20s inspired casino night! Semi-formal attire is strongly encouraged. Enjoy some food, drinks, and casino games with the chance to win one of our many awesome baskets, including baskets like a movie night basket and a tattoo shop gift card. We’ll also be offering behind home plate tickets to a Cleveland Guardians game for you and a friend!

Students over 21 will receive one free drink ticket for an alcoholic drink of choice with the option to purchase more drink tickets as well!

SUNDAY, APRIL 21

Earth Day Festival
Martin Fieldhouse; 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Co-Sponsored by the Field Station
Join us in Martin Fieldhouse again for our Earth Day Festival. Enjoy free food and desserts while exploring some Earth Day-themed tables and activities. We will have tote-bag painting, free plants, lawn games, animals from the Field Station, and a Hiram-wide garage sale for you to have the opportunity to sell some of your own items prior to summer (more details to come on the SpringFest webpage, email, and the TAB Instagram)!

EARTH DAY FESTIVAL GARAGE SALE POLICY

Items for sale must follow these guidelines:

  • Any items you bring must be clean; unclean items will not be accepted.
  • Acceptable items include but are not limited to: electronics, school supplies, home goods, and furniture.
    • We will not allow students to sell clothing; however, you can bring clothing items as donations to the thrift store.
  • Come with a price for your item in mind, but please be reasonable!
  • Drop your item off with our Garage Sale Leader; they will take your name, phone number, and desired price.
    • Please keep your phone on and near you, as we will contact you if/when someone is interested in purchasing your item(s).
  • Method of payment must be agreed upon by the seller and the purchaser; the Garage Sale Leader will not have cash on hand, nor will they facilitate the exchanging of funds.
  • It is the responsibility of the purchaser to test any products for functionality; it is not the responsibility of TAB and/or Hiram College should a purchaser buy a defunct product.
  • All sales are final.
SPRINGFEST GUEST POLICY

Guests are not allowed at Wednesday’s or Thursday’s events, but they will be allowed at Saturday’s and Sunday’s events. Guests must be at least 18 years of age. Regardless of legal drinking age, guests will not receive a free drink ticket but will be able to purchase them. 

Guest tickets will be $5 each day; tickets can be purchased at the SpringFest week events, the Office of Campus Involvement (main floor of the KC), or at Saturday and Sunday’s events themselves. We accept cash and Venmo.
