The Hiram College women’s swimming & diving team dropped a road meet 204-52 at NCAC foe Witternberg on Sunday afternoon.
The Terriers drop to 3-8 on the season and 0-3 in conference action, while the Tigers push their record to 4-2, 2-1.
Junior Marian Bade (Macungie, Pa./The Perkiomen School) led Hiram with a first place finish in the 200-yard IM, touching in 2:43.65. Sophomore Emily Kelly (North Royalton) was right behind in second place with a time of 2:43.70.
Junior Rachel Patten (Castalia/Margaretta) was fourth in the 1650-yard freestyle in 20:23.38 and Bade was right behind in fifth in 20:46.20.
Patten and Bade also finished fourth and fifth in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:13.71 and 1:17.61, respectively.
Hiram will return to action on January 23, when it travels to take on non-conference foe John Carroll at 6 p.m. The Terriers will then return home on January 24, with a tri-meet against Franciscan and Washington & Jefferson (Pa.).
