The Hiram College women’s soccer team was defeated by Carthage (Wisc.) by a 3-0 score on Sunday afternoon at Art Keller Field.
The Terriers fall to 1-2-0 on the season, while the Redman improve to 1-3-0.
Carthage jumped on the board 19:36 into the game on a goal by Kayla McGuinness.
The Redman added a goal in the 63rd minute and scored another goal in the 84th minute to put the game away.
Sophomore Allie Glatt (Cincinnati/Salem) paced the HC offense with two shots.
Junior goalkeeper Kailie Reed (Wadsworth) made four saves and drops to 1-2-0 on the season.
Hiram will return to action on Wednesday, when it travels to take on Thiel (Pa.) at 7 p.m.
