TIFFIN, OHIO — The Hiram College women’s golf team finished seventh of eight teams after the final round of the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational today (Saturday, Oct. 1) at the Mohawk Golf Club in Tiffin. [FINAL Results]
The Terriers carded a 456 stroke team total on the final day of competition to finish the tournament with a two-day total of 901 strokes (445+456=901) to finish seventh. Ohio Northern University came in first in the team standings with a tournament toal 680 strokes (339+341=680. Otterbein College was second at 699 strokes (355+344=699) and John Carroll University was third at 774 strokes (393+381=774).
Individually, junior Kristinee Khowcharoen (Muang, Phitsanulok, Thailand/Fryeburg Academy, Maine) carded an 87 on the final day and ended the tournament with 179 strokes (92+87=179) to lead the Terriers. Senior Sasha Davidson (East Hampton, Conn./East Hampton) was second with 220 strokes (113+107=220). Junior Amelia Mount (Strongsville/ Padua) was third with 221 strokes (106+115=221) and freshman Carrie Dyer (Canton/Canton McKinley) was fourth with 281 strokes (134+147=281).
Hiram concludes its 2010 fall schedule with the completion of the Heidelberg Fall Invitational.
