Hiram College

A chill is in the air and frost has covered the Hiram Hill. Winter is here and with it comes the magical memories of bedtime stories, fireside chats, and snow-filled movies. This year, you have the opportunity to share your stories with the Hiram community whether they are fiction, truth, or something in-between.

All students, faculty, staff, alumni, and prospective Hiram students are invited to enter our Winter Tales Contest. Enter your poem, rap, song, haiku, short story, or creation of your choice digitally for this competition. Center your creation around winter activities or elements such as frost, fire, sledding or warm food.

Submission Details:

Submitted entries must be less than 600 words or less than 30 seconds if the file is a video or audio recording. Winners will be chosen, and prizes will be awarded by the end of January, determined by three members of the Hiram community.

The contest opens Tuesday, Dec. 29 and will run until Friday, Jan. 22 at midnight.
