wbw-datesThe Office of Campus Involvement is holding a week of winter-themed programming to welcome students back to campus for the Spring 2014 semester, which begins Jan. 13, 2014.

The following events are part of the first annual Welcome Back Week:

Monday, Jan. 13

Welcome Back Breakfast and Drink Station: 9 a.m.-noon, across from the Hinsdale Arch. Stop by for free muffins, breads, hot cocoa and coffee on the first day of Spring 2014 classes.

Tuesday, Jan. 14

Snowball Fight and Snowman Making Contest: 7 p.m., Booth-Centennial Lawn. The most spirited team and best snowman will win a Chipotle party.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

Student, Faculty and Staff Potluck: 7 p.m., Dix Dining Hall (Kennedy Center). Faculty and staff will prepare and serve pasta, salad and side dishes, as they join students for a meal.

Thursday, Jan. 16

Coffee house performer Noah Guthrie, acoustic guitarist: 7 p.m., Kennedy Center Main Lounge

Friday, Jan. 17

Ice Skating at Falls River Square outdoor ice rink: 7-10 p.m., Falls River Square in Cuyahoga Falls. This trip is free for Hiram College students, and transportation will depart from the Kennedy Center at 6 p.m.

Snowboarding at Brandywine: 8 p.m.-2 a.m., Brandywine Ski Resort in Northfield. Tickets are available at a discounted rate of $10 for Hiram College students, and rental is $10. Transportation will depart from the Kennedy Center at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 18

Sledding at Sunny Lake Park: Sunny Lake Park in Aurora. This trip is free, and transportation will depart from the Kennedy Center at 12:30 p.m. Sign up at the Welcome Desk.

Comedy Act Nore Davis: 7 p.m., Hayden Auditorium
