The Hiram College volleyball team recorded a pair of 3-0 victories over Rochester (N.Y.) and Hilbert (N.Y.) on Saturday afternoon at the Hilbert Tri-Match.

The Terriers are now 18-3 on the season.

Against Rochester (11-14), the Terriers were victorious by a 25-18, 25-12, 25-18 score.

Junior Lindsay Brewer (Barberton/Machester) had 10 kills. Sophomore Marissa Jay(Parma/Padua Franciscan) added eight and junior Logan Brewer (Barberton/Machester) finished with seven, while hitting .545.

Senior Tierra Moore (Canton/Canton South) dished out 33 assists and senior Regina Zyle(Cleveland/Beaumont) added 21 digs.

Against Hilbert (2-20), it was the Terriers topping the Eagles for the second time this season, winning (25-16, 25-20, 25-18).

Jay led the way with 11 kills, with Logan Brewer chipping in with eight.

Zyle had 11 digs and sophomore Megan Schaefer (Elyria) and sophomore Claire Maier(Huntsville/Indian Lake) added nine and seven digs, respectively.

Maier also finished with 20 assists, with Moore adding 11.

The Terriers finished the match with 37 kills and a hitting percentage of .247.

Hiram will play again on Tuesday, when it travels to Case Western for a non-conference contest beginning at 7:00 p.m.
