The Hiram College volleyball team defeated posted straight set victories over Muskingum and Grove City (Pa.) to move to 6-0 on the season on Friday evening at the Marcia French Memorial Tournament.
Against Muskingum (5-2) the Terriers won 25-21, 25-10, 25-19.
Senior Tierra Moore (Canton/Canton South) paced the Terriers with 30 assists, while adding five digs and four kills.
Senior Regina Zyle (Cleveland/Beaumont) led HC defensively with 13 digs in the match.
In the match versus Grove City (2-4), it was Moore leading the way with 42 assists. She also finished the match with nine digs as Hiram scored a 25-13, 25-21, 25-12 victory.
Brewer recorded 18 kills with a impressive .692 hitting percentage. Yardas added 10 kills with a .292 hitting mark.
Zyle recorded 13 digs and sophomore Laura Kelly (Massillon/Jackson) chipped in with 11 kills for the Terriers.
Hiram will play two more matches on Saturday to close out the tournament against Baldwin Wallace at 10 a.m. and John Carroll at noon.
