Hiram College


The Hiram Men’s Chorus, Hiram Women’s Chorus and Hiram Community Chorus will present the annual holiday concert, “Sounds of the Season,” at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2013, at Hiram Community Church.

The program for the evening is as follows:

Hiram Women’s Chorus, directed by Damaris Peters Pike

  • “Widmung” (Dedication, Robert Schumann)
  • “Somewhere Out There” (An American Tale, Horner, Mann and Weil), featuring soloists Danielle Kohut ’16, Sydney Shawgo ’14, Lydia Snyder ’14, Sarah Weirich ’14
  • “You’ll Never Walk Alone” (Carousel, Rodgers and Hammerstein), featuring soloists Gail Adams Mikula and Marilyn Wasil
  • “Sans Day Carol” (traditional English tune), featuring soloist Jane Moody and Ellen Eckhouse on the harp
  • World Peace Canon (arr. Donald Moore), featuring Bobby Noel ’14 on the flute
