TIFFIN, OHIO — Select members of the Hiram College women’s golf team completed the final round of the Heidelberg University Fall Invitational today (Sunday, Sept. 25) at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin. [FINAL Results]
The Terriers competed as individuals and did not qualify in the team scoring. Baldwin-Wallace College won the event with a two-day team-total of 679 strokes (336+343=679). Ohio Wesleyan University was second at 754 strokes (381+373=754) and Capital University placed third at 765 strokes (397+368=765).
Individually, senior Kritsinee Khowchareon (Muang, Phitsanulok, Thailand/Fryeburg Academy, Maine) led Hiram with a tournament total of 167 strokes (82+85=167) and placed third overall. Freshman Becky Fleischmann (Pepper Pike/Orange) was second with 225 total strokes (112+113=225) and fellow freshman Renee Bellis rounded out the Hiram competitors with a total of 303 strokes (158+145=303).
Hiram will conclude its 2011 fall schedule next Sunday-Monday, Oct. 2-3 at the Allegheny College Invitational in Meadville, Pa.
