The Hiram College men’s swimming & diving team dropped its final home meet of the season to Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) by a 111-88 score on Saturday afternoon.
The Terriers are now 0-11 on the season, while the Presidents improve to 5-6.
Freshman Jonathan Ruiz (Freeport, N.Y.) paced Hiram with a victory in the 200-meter I.M. in 2:25.91.
The 200-meter freestyle team of junior Christian Kelly (Walpole, Mass.), freshman John Kost(Chantilly, Va./Westfield), freshman Kyle Sarver (Parma/Parma Senior) and Ruiz touched second with a time of 1:49.20.
Sarver aslo recorded a third place finish in the 1,000-meter freestyle in 10:07.95.
In the 200-meter freestyle, Kost was third in 2:16.19 and sophomore Jordan Canevari (Vero Beach, Fla./St. Edward’s) finished right behind in fourth in 2:19.47.
Hiram will return to action on February 11, when it begins the multi-day NCAC Championships at Denison.
