The Hiram College men’s soccer team fell by a 4-0 score to No. 5 Kenyon on Saturday afternoon.
The loss drops the Terriers to 7-7-2 on the season and 2-3-2 in the NCAC. The Lords improve to 13-1-1, 5-1-1.
The first half was tight, with neither team scoring. The Lords held a 5-2 edge in shots.
Kenyon would score four times in a 12 minute span in the second half to take control.
Junior Richie Webb (London, England/Laude Lady Elizabeth School) paced Hiram with two shots in the contest.
Freshman Luke Wilhelm (Shaker Heights/University) made three stops in goal for the Terriers.
Kenyon held a 16-5 advantage in shots and took nine corner kicks, compared to two for the Terriers.
Hiram will play another road game on Wednesday, taking on Wooster at 7:30 p.m.
