The Hiram College men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest to NCAC foe Wabash (Ind.) on Saturday afternoon.
The Terriers drop to 5-5-0 on the season and 0-2-0 in NCAC play, while the Little Giants move to 7-0-2, 1-0-0.
Wabash jumped on the board three minutes into the game, when Steven Magura took a pass from Riley Pelton and found the back of the net.
Senior Ryan Kramarz (Chesterland/West Geauga) fired a team best two shots, with one being on goal in the match.
Junior Matt Sacher (Akron/Coventry) and sophomore Chris Lindemeyer (Lodi/Cloverleaf) did not record a save in one half of action in goal.
The Terriers fired nine shots in the contest, while Wabash took five. The Little Giants held a slim 6-5 edge in corner kicks.
Hiram will return to action on Wednesday, when it travels to take on Case Western at 7:30 p.m.
