Hiram College football senior Matt Moore (Twinsburg/Thomas Worthington) has been named to the Hampshire Honor Society be the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame (NFF).
Moore is the second player in program history to earn this honor.
To be eligible for the Honor Society, a player must maintain a 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career.
In all, 817 players from 278 school across all divisions were selected for this honor.
Moore appeared in eight games in 2014, making eight tackles and recording his first career interception.
In his career, he played in 18 contests making 36 total tackles (20 solo, 16 assists). In addition he had two pass breakups.
Hiram posted a 5-5 record in 2014, with a 4-5 mark in the NCAC. The five wins were the most for the Terriers since the 1988 season.
