Junior Lindsay Brewer (Barberton/Manchester) had a match-high 16 kills as the Hiram College volleyball team posted a 25-12, 25-13, 25-18 victory over Wooster on Friday night.

The Terriers improve to 15-3 overall and remain perfect in the NCAC at 3-0. The Fighting Scots drop to 5-14, 0-3.

Brewer had just one attack error in the match and finished with a .455 hitting percentage.

Senior Jennifer Yardas (Moon Township, Pa./Moon) and sophomore Nikolette Scruggs(Barberton) each added eight kills for Hiram.

Senior Regina Zyle (Cleveland/Beaumont) had a match-high 22 digs for the Terriers. SophomoreLaura Kelly (Massillon/Jackson) added 13 digs and Yardas finished with 11.

Zyle now has 1,513 digs in her career, which ranks her second in program history.

Senior Tierra Moore (Canton/Canton South) recorded a match-high 41 assists.

As a team, the Terriers had 44 total kills and just seven errors, hitting an impressive .430 on the evening.

Hiram will look to remain unbeaten in the NCAC, when it hosts Allegheny (Pa.) at Price Gymnasium on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
