Junior Lindsay Brewer (Barberton/Manchester) was named to the All-Tournament team as the Hiram volleyball team posted wins over St. Lawrence (N.Y.) and Nazareth (N.Y.) to close out the Cortland (N.Y.) Red Dragon Classic.

The Terriers were one of two teams to win all four matches on the weekend and stand at a perfect 4-0 on the season.

Brewer finished the tournament with 61 kills and a impressive .381 hitting percentage.

Hiram opened play on Saturday with a straight set 25-10, 25-10, 25-16 win over St. Lawrence (1-3).

Brewer paced HC with 12 kills and sophmore Marissa Jay (Parma/Padua Franciscan) added eight kills.

Senior Regina Zyle (Cleveland/Beaumont) led the Terriers defensively with 11 digs and seniorTierra Moore (Maple Heights) dished out a match-high 27 assists.

In the match against Nazareth (0-4), Brewer and Jay led Hiram with 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Senior Jennifer Yardas (Moon Township, Pa./Moon) chipped in with eight kills.

Zyle finished the match with 25 digs and Moore recorded 42 assists.

Hiram will return to action on September 5, when it takes part in the Marcia French Tournament against Muskingum at 6 p.m. and Grove City (Pa.) at 8 p.m.
