Senior Kyle Meggas (Lakewood) finished in a tie for 34th place to lead the Hiram College men’s golf team to a 10th place finish of 12 teams at the Guy Kuhn Invitational hosted by Allegheny (Pa.).

The Terriers finished with a team score of 336-334-670. Washington & Jefferson (Pa.) won the title with a team score of 603.

Meggas’ posted a score of 81-81-162 on the par-72, 6,808-yard course.

Freshman Austin Jenkins finished in a tie for 43rd with a 78-86-164 and freshman Kyle Carilewas tied for 55th with a 87-80-167.

Jake Reed of St. Vincent (Pa.) took home medalist honors with a 70-73-143.

Hiram will return to competiton on September 27-28, when it takes part in the Mount Union Invitational.
