Before leaving for summer break, it’s important to know what your tuition bill will be for the 2014-15 academic year.
The Office of Financial Aid and Office of Student Accounts will be holding four “Know What You Owe” sessions May 6-8 to give students a clear picture of next year’s finances. The sessions will take place at the following times in Dix Dining Hall of the Kennedy Center:
- May 6, 10 a.m.
- May 6, 3 p.m.
- May 8, 10 a.m.
- May 8, 3 p.m.
Andrea Caputo, director of financial aid, and Linda Shirey, manager of student accounts, will walk students through figuring out exactly what their bill will be for next semester, factoring in scholarships, grants and loans. Students should bring a laptop.
The sessions are open to all returning members of the Classes of 2015, 2016 and 2017. All students who attend will be entered into a raffle for one of three $1,000 scholarships for the 2014-15 academic year ($500 each semester). One scholarship will be awarded to each class.
Students are encouraged to RSVP for the event; those who RSVP and attend will double their chances of winning the scholarship.
