Freshman Austin Jenkins finished in a tie for 12th place to lead the Hiram College men’s golf team at the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
Jenkins fired a 78-73-151 to finish in a tie for 12th out of 54 total golfers.
Senior Kyle Meggas (Lakewood) finished in a tie for 42nd, shooting a 82-81-163.
The Terriers finished sixth of six teams with a team score of 332-308-640. Host Mount Union won the tournament with a 295-285-580.
John Carroll’s Mark Chrzanowski took Medalist honors, shooting a 73-69-142.
The Terriers will compete next on October 4 and 5 at the Kenyon Invitational.
