Hiram is in the planning stages of possibly creating a hike and bike trail that will serve as a conduit between the College and the James H. Barrow Biological Field Station. President Tom Chema, along with Congressman Steven C. LaTourette, have secured funding to examine which of three potential routes would be the best decision for the trail, economically and environmentally.
In order to continue with the project, those in charge would like to find out how much interest there is in the 2+ mile trail. Although the project is only in its planning stages, significant interest will help to make the trail a more tangible reality.
