Hiram College announced its Tech and Trek program, the first 1:1 Apple mobile program for a four-year college or university in Ohio, in February 2017. Since the initial launch, all full-time traditional college students have been presented with iPad Pro bundles, helping students forge their path to a degree and understand the use of mindful technology. Recognized for Tech and Trek, the College was also named an Apple Distinguished School for 2019-2022 for the leadership and educational excellence it has demonstrated using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
