Hiram College was ranked in the top third among 650 colleges and universities in the U.S. ranked by Forbes Magazine in its “Forbes Best Colleges” ranking, released last week.
Hiram was rated 197th overall in the prestigious rankings, 157th among private institutions, and 39th among colleges and universities in the Midwest. The Forbes rankings measure colleges’ affordability and productivity, using criteria including student satisfaction, 4-year graduation rates, student debt loads, and academic achievement and post-graduate success.
“We are happy to be among the leaders in the rankings,” said Thomas V. Chema, President of Hiram. “We pride ourselves in providing a high quality education that is affordable.”
