Students, faculty, staff and alumni are all invited to come together for Hiram Day at Derthick’s Corn Maze, on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 2-8 p.m.
Derthick’s Corn Maze is located three miles west of Hiram on Route 82 in Mantua, and offers a wide array of fall activities for all ages. The farm experience includes a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, pony rides, corn hole, farm animal encounters and a ride on the Bucking Cow train. The 17-acre corn maze is a tribute to John Glenn, Ohio native, as the first man to orbit the earth 50 years ago.
Students needing transportation must sign up at the Kennedy Center Welcome Desk. Shuttles will be leaving every 10 minutes, from 5-11 p.m.
The Office of Alumni Relations will be on site with special Hiram give-a-ways and treats. Other concessions are available on the farm.
Hiram-only discounts are available as follows:
- Maze only ticket: $5 (regularly $8)
- Farm only ticket: $5 (regularly $8)
- Farm and maze combo: $10 (regularly $14)
