Hiram College women’s basketball player and junior guard Stephanie Zunic (Canfield) has been named All-North Coast Athletic Conference for her efforts on the court this season.Zunic was tabbed as a second-team All-NCAC pick.
The Terrier women ended the season with a 5-20 overall record and finished with a 3-13 conference record. Hiram also returned to the NCAC Tournament this season as the seventh seed, the highest in program history, and made its third overall appearance in the postseason.
Zunic played and started in all but one game this season and led the team in scoring averaging 10.9 points per game on 35.9 percent (98-of-273) shooting following a season-ending injury to teammate Brittany Mayle (Mantua/Crestwood). She led the team in three other statistical categories this winter including three-pointers made (34), assists (66) and steals (38).Zunic also averaged 3.9 rebounds per game and was one of the top free-throw shooters on the team at 77.5 percent (31-of-40). This is Zunic’s first selection to the All-NCAC team in basketball.
