Hiram College recognized as a 2025 – 2026 College of Distinction

National guide honors Hiram for academic excellence, affordability, and global learning opportunities

Hiram College has once again been named a College of Distinction for the 2025–2026 academic year, recognized for its commitment to a personalized, experience-rich education that prepares students for success far beyond graduation day.

This national honor is awarded to institutions that prioritize engaged learning, strong faculty-student connections, and a vibrant campus community. Hiram’s recognition includes both the Ohio College of Distinction and Private College of Distinction honors, underscoring the College’s strength within the state and among private institutions nationwide. These distinctions, along with those for academic programs and institutional values, reflect Hiram’s continued commitment to delivering an exceptional student experience.

Hiram earned distinctions in Business, Education, and Nursing, acknowledging the depth and rigor of its programs in these high-demand fields. These honors reflect the College’s emphasis on real-world preparation—whether through clinical placements, student teaching, internships, or undergraduate research—that ensures students graduate with both confidence and competence.

The College was also named an Affordable College of Distinction, an honor given to institutions that deliver a high-quality education while maintaining strong affordability and student outcomes, ensuring real value and a solid return on investment for students. Central to this effort is the Hiram Tuition Guarantee, which ensures that a student’s tuition rate remains the same all four years—offering families financial clarity and peace of mind. Coupled with generous scholarship packages and individualized support, Hiram continues to break down financial barriers without compromising academic excellence.
