The Hiram College indoor track and field teams competed at the third and final Oberlin College Open Meet of the season tonight (Friday, Feb. 15) in Oberlin. [Complete Results]
Senior All-NCAC hurdler Lynne Hutchison (Solon) led the Terrier women with a fourth place finish in the 55-meter hurdles (9.33 seconds). Sophomore Nadrienna Damaris (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance) rounded out the top individual performances for the women with a seventh place finish in the 200-meter dash crossing the finish line in a time of 29.10 seconds. The women also had a relay team finish fourth in the 4×200-meter relay posting a time of 1:58.58.
The men were led by junior Kevin Tolbert (Shaker Heights) who won a pair of events in the 55-meter dash (6.63 seconds) and 200-meter dash (23.73 seconds). SophomoreStefhen Offutt (Twinsburg) was the only other competitor for the men and placed fourth in the 55-meter dash (6.99 seconds) and sixth in the 200-meter dash (25.13 seconds).
The Hiram indoor track teams will next compete on Friday, Feb. 22 at the annual Greater Cleveland Championships hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
