Freshman Jenni Heid (Stow/Stow-Munroe Falls) won the 200-meter freestyle to lead the Hiram College women’s swimming & diving team at Wilmington on Saturday.

The Terriers (3-5) fell to the Quakers (1-4) 126-59.

Heid won the 200-meter freestyle in 2:26.87 and was second in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:26.36.

Senior Rebecca Wright (New Carlisle/Northwestern Local) was second in the 100-meter butterfly in 1:17.02 and senior Emily Anderson touched second in the 100-meter freestyle in 1:22.69.

Sophomore Emily Kelly (North Royalton) was second in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:28.21 and senior Rachel Patten (Castalia/Margaretta) finished second in the 400-meter freestyle.

Hiram will compete again on November 22, when it travels to take on Baldwin Wallace at 1:00 p.m.
