SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO — Hiram College Head Swimming and Diving Coach Jack Groselle continued his success in the pool this summer following another standout performance. This time at the United States Masters Swimming Summer Nationals in San Juan, Puerto Rico that was held on Monday-Thursday, Aug. 9-12.
Groselle competed in six individual events, capturing first place in every event, as well as competing in a combined four relay and mixed relay events, capturing two event titles.
In individual events, Groselle claimed the top spot in the 50-yard freestyle (26.52 seconds), 100-yard free (57.54 seconds), 200-yard free (2:08.56), 50-yard breaststroke (33.66 seconds), 100-yard breast (1:16.86) and the 200-yard breast (2:49.50). In the relay events, Groselle helped post winning marks in the 200-yard medley relay (2:15.87) and the 200-yard mixed free relay (2:00.39).
