Hiram’s registrar and 2008 MAIS graduate Ginny Taylor has been published in the best-selling This I Believe series. Taylor’s essay “Staying Close” is included in the anthology “This I Believe: On Love,” published this month. Based on a 1950s radio program of the same name and hosted by journalist Edward R. Murrow, This I Believe, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2004 to engage “youth and adults from all walks of life in writing, sharing, and discussing brief essays about the core values that guide their daily lives,” according to its web site.
“This I Believe: On Love” is the third collection of essays published by This I Believe, Inc. The first “This I Believe” book published in 2006 became a “New York Times” bestseller in paperback. The second volume was published in 2008.
