Hiram College

Elizabeth B. Juliano ’84, vice chairwoman of the Hiram College Board of Trustees, will be named to the Hall of Excellence of the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges on April 6 during a ceremony in Columbus. She is one of five business leaders and educators to receive this honor, which recognizes attainment of leadership status in business and service, as well as involvement with liberal arts education as a visionary, critical thinker, advocate or pioneer.

Juliano, the CEO and founder of Litigation Management Inc. of Cleveland, graduated from Hiram’s Weekend College with a bachelor’s degree in humanities. She also served on the Hiram Board of Visitors from 1996 to 2002, and has served in many other advisory and academic capacities with the college.

Beginning with $10,000 borrowed from a relative, Juliano created a new industry niche. LMI now employs more than 500 people, providing services such as medical information summary, medical literature review, and identification of medical experts for companies in litigation. She is now a frequent contributor to legal and medical journals and a sought-after lecturer on medical and legal issues.

Juliano’s international clients include Johnson & Johnson, Dow Chemical, Exxon and Merck.
