Hiram College


The Hiram College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the Oberlin Rumble on Saturday.

The women finished 40th of 40 team with 1,318 points. The men did not compete in the varsity race.

SUNY-Geneseo won the women’s event with 54 points and won the men’s team event with 97 points.

In the women’s race, senior Alys Dutton (Columbia, Md.) was the first Terrier to cross in 29:32.60. Senior Patricia Bohls (Macedonia) finished two spots behind with a time of 29:36.40.

In the men’s open 8k race, junior Kevin Kerper (Twinsburg) led the Terriers across the finish line in 172nd place in 32:19.50.

Hiram will compete next at the North Coast Athletic Conference championships on Nov. 1 on the campus on Denison.
