Hiram graduate Douglas J. Grimm has been appointed the chief executive officer (CEO) and a member of the Board of Directors of Citation Corporation. Citation is a privately held corporation that, through its subsidiaries, designs, develops, and manufactures high-quality cast and machined components for the automotive, construction, and commercial industries. Grimm is located at the company’s Novi, Michigan office.
“I look forward to working with all Citation team members in order to drive value for our customers,” said Grimm. “Citation has a strong reputation for quality products with dedicated associates and operations that are strategically located to serve our diverse customer base.”
Grimm is a 24-year veteran of the automotive industry, including 10 years at Chrysler Corporation. He held progressively responsible executive positions with Metaldyne, Dana Corporation, and Visteon Corporation prior to being appointed Citation’s CEO.
Grimm is responsible for the strategic oversight and direction of the company.

Grimm earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Hiram College in 1984. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Detroit. He also completed the University of Michigan Executive Management Program, and serves as a member of the Hiram College Board of Visitors.
