One sure sign of spring on Hiram Hill is the Annual Juried Student Art Show at the Gelbke Art Gallery.

Entries are being accepted for this year’s show until 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, and the exhibit is open to all students, for works in all media,  whether they study art or not.

On March 20, the show will open to the public with a reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Winners in each category, including best work by a freshman or sophomore will be announced at 6 p.m.

The judge this year is Robert Buganski, a sculptor and chairman of the art department at the University of Mount Union.

To enter, students must submit a $1 entry fee, along with their framed, mounted or matted work, to the Art Department by the March 14 deadline.
