Students interested in becoming physical therapists can major in any subject. This includes history, art, music, business, many sciences, or any field. No matter what major you choose, you must take courses in biology, chemistry, math, and physics. You will have to sustain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. The most common majors are biology, psychology, exercise science and kinesiology. See each individual program for information on their applicants’ majors.
