In May of 2017, Rudy Braydich joined Hiram College’s Office of Alumni Relations and Development as a Major Gifts Officer. His primary responsibility is to actively engage alumni and friends in efforts to secure leadership gifts that will help to advance the mission of the College. Braydich brings 12 years of higher education experience to the table as he worked in residence life at both Cleveland State University and Case Western Reserve University. Most recently, he worked in the private sector for a local manufacturing entrepreneur as a production supervisor, yet the calling to come back to higher education was too strong to ignore, especially that from Hiram College. Braydich states that he has been a fan of Hiram College since he first visited campus in 2000.
Braydich is no stranger to the liberal arts. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Baldwin Wallace University. In addition, he earned a Masters of Education in Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University. His hobbies include landscaping, wood working and spending time with his wife and three children at their home in Aurora, Ohio.
