Romeva Prcela is an Assistant Professor of Accounting, teaching a variety of accounting courses, including Intermediate Accounting, Cost Management Accounting and Federal Taxation. Romeva has extensive experience as the Director of Taxes for publicly held corporate tax departments. Additionally, she spent almost 20 years in public accounting, primarily with Deloitte & Touche and Plante Moran. She is a Certified Public Accountant. She brings a unique perspective to her classes, having worked in both private industry and public accounting in many different industries, including manufacturing, not-for-profit, health care and mining. Her diverse experience allows her to address both the theoretical and practical aspects of Accounting.

  • Areas of interest include corporate taxation, specifically federal and international taxes.

Fun Facts

  • Professor Prcela loves to travel, and most recently spent 2 weeks traveling through Italy. She is an avid Cleveland Indians fan and scrapbooker.
