Peggy Painley has been a member of the Development and Alumni Relations team at Hiram College since 2002. She is responsible for implementing strategic plans for increasing philanthropic support of the College. This includes overseeing the implementation and tracking of major fundraising campaigns and ensuring annual fundraising priorities are met. In addition to managing the efforts of the Alumni Relations team, Peggy also works to facilitate the cultivation and completion of planned (estate) gifts for Hiram College. She also manages all aspects of donor-funded endowment funds for the purpose of properly reporting to and stewarding our donors.

Her prior work experience includes more than 20 years as an instructional designer for Revco D.S., Inc., FedEx Logistics, and an independent consultant with PepsiCo Inc. in North Carolina and APCOA in Cleveland, Ohio.

For more than 30 years, she has volunteered with local festival committees, community projects, church treasury, and coaching girls’ slow-pitch softball. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, golfing, singing, woodworking and making pies for the Geauga County Fair. Painley and her husband, Rick, reside in Mantua Township and have two grown daughters.
