Peggy Painley has been a member of the Development and Alumni Relations team at Hiram College since January 2002. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the College’s planned giving program through the Burke A. Hinsdale Society, including cultivating new planned gifts from estates, trusts, gift annuities, and will commitments. When estate gifts are realized, she serves as the primary contact during probate processing to facilitate receipt of the planned gifts according to the donor’s wishes.
Her prior work experience includes more than 20 years as an instructional designer for Revco D.S., Inc., FedEx Logistics, and an independent consultant with PepsiCo Inc. in North Carolina and APCOA in Cleveland, Ohio.
For more than 30 years, she has volunteered with local festival committees, community projects, church treasury, and coaching girls’ slow-pitch softball. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, golfing, singing, woodworking and making pies for the Geauga County Fair. Painley and her husband, Rick, reside in Mantua Township and have two grown daughters.
