Jennifer guides students and families through the financial aid process from application to award, ensuring a clear, supportive, and personalized experience throughout their time at Hiram College. She works across departments to keep information accurate, timely, and student-focused.

Jennifer is passionate about making college more accessible through clear communication and a student-first approach. She’s especially interested in how policy, technology, and teamwork can create better paths to student success.

Education

Jennifer earned her M.A. in English from Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English in Vermont and has taught writing for more than twenty years. Before joining Hiram, she worked in Research Administration at Youngstown State University and ran a professional writing and grants firm focused on proposal development and budgeting.

Fun facts

A Northeast Ohio native, Jennifer once worked as a liaison for a Japanese chemical company – proof that she can translate just about anything, from cross-cultural communication to financial aid forms.
